Our origin
From coaching rooms to a standalone agency.
Since 2016, Michael King Jr. has led Teams.Coach, guiding executives, their teams and entrepreneurs through the complexity of leadership. Before that, as an executive pastor, he learned first-hand how the right story, told the right way, moves people.
Coaching revealed a pattern. Strong leaders were relying on expensive agencies that promised a lot and delivered little. So Teams.Coach built an in-house marketing and media team — SEO, social media and content — to support its coaching clients.
Word spread. Demand grew from people who didn't need coaching but did need visibility. In 2024, Gawker Traffic launched as a standalone agency so any business could get the same strategic, story-first marketing.
Today we do far more than SEO and social: websites, AI search visibility, PR, advertising, content and video — still anchored in understanding the business first.

Michael King Jr. is an executive coach, business strategist and keynote speaker. Since 2016 he has led Teams.Coach, helping executives, founders and leadership teams — including leaders at organizations like Disney, ADP, Pfizer and the YMCA — align strategy and execution.
Coaching kept revealing the same thing: great leaders with the wrong story, told to the wrong people, by agencies that promised the moon. Gawker Traffic started as marketing support for coaching clients. Demand made it a standalone agency.
